“May our uniqueness always shine bright… Even if they don’t understand, someone is waiting to hear, to experience, to be inspired… So keep dreaming!…
I have always dreamed of a world where we could treasure each other and appreciate the gifts that we each have to offer. This is my heartbeat. A colourful world where our race, religion, nationality etc, doesn’t matter.
Maybe I’m a dreamer and to some this is impossible. Well then I’ll keep dreaming and continue to use my music, my songs, as a reflection of the hope that I have within.
I’ve been singing since I was a four year old little girl, standing on a chair on stage at church, peering over the podium and looking at my dad for encouragement, while he eagerly tried to get me to start singing… Precious memories… Precious beginnings.
My parents have always motivated me to pursue music and with their support I completed an Honors degree in Jazz music at UKZN.
I have performed extensively since then, over the past ten years, in and around my Durban hometown and I am truly grateful, for the many stages and artists that I have shared my music with.
Today I embark on new adventures, with new music on the horizon and with many more messages of hope and love, that will echo in the hearts of all those who are willing to listen.
Let music be our voice…”
